Youth Cost of Care Payments
Youth Cost of Care Payments
Under Montana law, Montana Code Annotated 41-5-1525, when a court places a youth under the supervision of the DOC, the court determines whether the youth’s parents or guardians can pay part or all of the associated costs.
Individuals ordered to make payments can do so online or by mail.
Online
Go to the online payment portal and follow the instructions provided. Be sure to have the associated invoice available.
To send money using the online system, individuals must have a Montana OKTA account. Anyone who applied for visitation online will already have one. Those who don’t have an OKTA account will need to create one before they can make a payment using the online service. Visit the Visitation page for more information about how to create an OKTA account.
